Blogging before life, right? Well, why is it no one updates but every other week? I can say I am not addicted to blogging but I love reading others. Because at 6:00 am there is nothing to do but look at blogs from work. I am glad you all understand.

I had the best dinner of all time on Sunday. My brother and sister in law (Trent and Jackie) made this roast beef french dip kind of thing. But the sauce, I still cant get enough of it...

I have asked for the recipe, so if you read this, EMAIL it to Brit. I loved the spice. I cannot wait to make it very spicey for myself. I guess having 3 croc-pots is about to pay off. Is it crock? Crok? or Croc? Oh well, who cares. You all get the point.

I really never have anything to say on a blog. I just start typing and what ever sticks, I post. I never have an objective. I notice most people do. BAH @ YOU!

Ok, time for me to go read everyone elses blogs. UPDATE THEM. All of you. I only have like 5 I actually look at. I don't know anyone who blogs....I am a closet blogger, DONT TELL ANYONE I do this....I have a strong rep to keep, duh!

Late!

It's over, you DRESSed?

Well, the Buckeyes fell short again. It's good to say we again made a title game. Sadly, we beat ourselves. 6 personal fouls. WOW! 4 of those 6 on third down. One on a punt...not so good. So I will look forward to another year of being called over rated while making the title game. We lose 2 starting seniors. Boy, the NCAA has to love the Bucks. The largest school in the nation as well as the largest budget in the nation for athletics. Hate them, love them, they are domination at its finest. I will not admit they were beat. They were not beat, they gave that game with stupid fouls. I can say my team made the title game. Regardless of if they deserved it or not, we were there, was your team? Ahhh I cannot wait for the responses on this. I know you'll blab away about how how over rated OSU is....6 straight BCS bowls? 4 wins, a national title and EIGHT Big 10 titles in the past 10 years. Over rate that buddy.

Man it feels good to lose but know that we are having the best recruiting of the year, of any school.

Did you know Urban Meyer, Pete Carroll,Bob Stoops all coach at Ohio State? Not bad huh? GO BUCKS!

So I had a bet that if the Buckeyes lost, I would wear a dress at work. Pictures soon to come.

Nice season

So the Sundevils lost. Great year guys. 9-2. I hope you get to 10 wins.

And now everyone can sing it with me "Over rated" "Over rated"

I kept my mouth shut all year. Didnt say a word when OSU lost. Took the beating from people in AZ and now when you thought roses were in your future, I can just slam you with what you slammed me with.

And if we lose the national title game or the rose bowl, at least we made it. We played 5 ranked teams, beat them all....lost to a team who is now ranked in the top 20, how is that over rated? We also have the nest defense in YPG in the NCAA. Held Michigan to 91 or 96 yards, not bad for over rated. See ya in Pasadena.

GO BUCKS!

I hope ASU makes it all the way next year. I wanted to see ASU vs OSU. Now we will get Oregon. Bring on the Ducks. If Dixon doesnt play the bucks will KILL them. If he does, itll be a heck of a game.

Life

I love life. Its this time of year. Makes me happy. I get to hang out with family, the loved ones. Having them come from Utah and Texas to see us all. I dont express my love for them. I do love hanging out with them all. As I have said in the past I dont say alot. I observe from the back if you will. I am excited to see all the little kids. Then even more excited to find a baby sitter to rid them woo!!!

So my last post had a couple comments. Shelly, I was not pointing blame at anyone. I've seen him treated differently in the past. Not a big deal. Then again, being a parent you become biased. Maybe it's just me. Either way, we love your kiddos. Without them, my kids are the only crazy ones. WE NEED MORE LOMU'S!

Jacob is so excited to see his best friend Tyson when you guys come down. Those 2 can do what they do best, get into trouble and blame the others. Love them two boys!!

Mike, thanks for the early morning email about my birthday. Of all the people in the family minus Brit, you were the first to say Happy Birthday. Thats awesome. I had no clue you even knew. You have always been the silent type that watches, kinda like me but, you amazed me with the email.

Holidays yay. The boys are going to have a good christmas. We are thinking of getting Jacob and Ty-Ty a car they can drive. Let Jake drive it. VROOOOOOM. And no Mike, you CANNOT drive it.

I am unsure as to what get Brit. I think I might need to call Aunt Debbie and Uncie to help me with the gift I am thinking of. I know what we are getting Mom and Dad. We are soooooo stoked to get there gift. Just the look on the faces of the family will be priceless. Heck, I want what we are getting them. Yes people, we are going all out to make some smiles happen. I cant wait to give our gifts.

At the end of the day though people remember, this is about our savior and lord Jesus. He loves all of us so much. Think of him every day. Think of the sacrifice and unselfishness and the love he had and still has for us all. A plan and knowledge to get back to our father in heaven. Thinking back on all of this life to date, isnt it amazing the way everything is set up. For instance, if the tilt of the earth was off 2 more degree's we would all fry. Do you think this is heavenly fathers first Earth? No way. I am trying to get back to him. It is VERY hard. I of all people and you all know, am not perfect.

I would like to bear my testimony on this blog for you all. I know Jesus is the christ. I know heavenly father lives. I know there is a plan of salvation. I know if you guys all read the book of mormon and open your hearts, it will guide you in the right direction. I do believe in our first estate. We had a choice and chose to follow our father and his son,our eldest brother. I know the gospel was restored for us on this earth, at this time. I know if we pray and read our scriptures that we will be blessed and most of all, if we serve others, our father in heaven will make sure we are more then taken care of. I love what I do for a living, the people I serve and serve with but more importantly I love what I am working for eternally. I again love my family. My children, my dear loving wife with whom I would not be here if it wasn't for her. My inlaws, who have shown me that you do not need "earthly" things to be happy. All of them have in there own ways shown me what life is like if you live it correctly. They all amaze me. I pray you all keep motivating me and I hope this modivates you to do the same. I say this in the name of our savior and redeemer Jesus Christ, Amen.

Blogging

It's rough trying to find time to blog. Honestly, I do not mind it itself. It is just where do you find time? I work from 7 am to 4 pm. Talk to executives all day (Or try to) then when I get home, I want to crash out and not talk to anyone. Now before you say well, that's not fair to your wife, I talk to her all the time at work. She is good about finding out what kind of day it is early on and playing it by ear from there. Anyway, I should address some things for you others.

First of all ASU is not that good this year. Being and living in AZ I have heard it all and have told several people Oregon is the 2nd best team in the country. They are a great program this year. Don't get down Devils, this is Erickson's first year. NEXT year you guys will be smoking good. I hope you guys make a BCS bowl. GO DEVILS.

Next up, family. This can be a rough subject since most of our family reads each others blogs. How about I just lay it all out on the line here? Before I start, Britney has no clue I am typing this. She is putting the kids to bed and reading something online. First of all, little Jake gets the blame for everything. He should be treated like all the other kids. That means before you go blaming him for anything investigate. I do it here at home. Most of the time it is Tyler that does what ever it is and Jake is just in the room. Listen to Jake. He is very honest. During Thanksgiving I would like to talk to everyone about Jake and who he is. I am still learning. But I do know he is VERY honest and will admit when he does something. You just have to ask the kid. Teach your kids about Jake. Go online and read about autism. I would encourage EVERYONE to watch Mozart and the Whale. Josh Harnett is in it. Great movie based on someones life that has what Jake does. Don't think for a second that Jake is not smart. I have seen him blow peoples minds. He knows things some others don't. I know, all kids are the smartest. Ok, I get it. Just don't under estimate him. Treat him with respect. Show him the same love you do all the other kids. He will test you with his ADHD. He test me everyday. Just keep in mind he is not doing it to annoy you. He is just being Jake. Without him, my family would not be complete. He is our number genius. I don't know of many 5 year olds that can speak semi fluent sign language and count to over 100. Maybe I just don't know many kids. Jake is the man. This isn't pointed at any one person. If it was, I would call you out. It is just a reminder to all. Most importantly, Ive watched kids play with Jake. They all ask him whats wrong. Why is he not normal. And Ive seen them push him away. That breaks my heart. I remember once at a Halloween party he went to play with 3 kids. All about 5 years old. They pushed him down and started kicking him. Why? Because Jake wanted to play with them and they didn't understand, he is normal. He just has a social disorder.

Next topic, Work. Man Do I love my job. I have been told not to talk about it to much. I can go on and on. What do I do? I WORK FOR A COMMERCIAL COLLECTION AGENCY. Booo yaaa. How can I be so excited? Well, I love what I do. Best part is, I am ok at it. I know most of you would never admit to doing my line of work if you did. But think of it this way, I am not the one who is placed for collections. I'm not even the collector. I am just a sales rep who makes friends on a daily basis. I look at it like I am the middle man in a exchange of money. That's all. Its nice to be good at what you do, paid alright for it and like what you do. Those are 3 hard qualities to find.

I don't blog topics like everyone else. I just go with the mood. I was listening to something calm for the Jake blog and now its RUSH, LIMELIGHT. Not bad....

I was asked by a client recently how I ended up in commercial collections. That brought up a good story. I will post it. Grab a pillow....

I met my wife at 19, back then she wasn't my wife though. Amazing, I know. Things with the family, well, didn't go so well. DON'T HOLD IT AGAINST ME!!!!! I love my in laws. All of them. Great people with all kinds of personalities. anyway....

So I was working at a HVAC company. Well I ended up doing something stupid and lost my job. So I worked at a club. That sucked and I wasn't making any money. Britney ended up moving in with me and I needed a job. Britney picked up the new times or employment guide and found a place called Starwood. I went in for a interview and it was setting appointments to view timeshares. I took the job. Within 2 weeks I was the #1 rep in the company. Held that title for 18 months. Then my brother in law got me a job at a IBM outsourcing place. I ended up landing 2 big accounts. Georgia Pacific and Coca Cola. Moved to Texas after a year there to do Leasing. Was the #1 rep there and the company didn't pay there bills so moved back to AZ. Went back to the IBM outsourcing place and didn't like it anymore. Britney once again finds a place called VeriCore. I go in for a interview and thought "Collections?" I'm better then this. Britney said to do it anyway. I got along great with the 2 people who interviewed me. They spoke about football. I was in love with the company from the first NFL sentence.

So I joined up with them. 3 MAJOR players in my branch ended up moving into management or going to start there own firm. I landed some solid accounts and went on commission 11 months after I started. Haven't looked back and am now ranked #1 in primary sales and #3 in fee. This is out of about 50 reps. Not bad.

Reading over this I am thinking you all with think wow this guy is cocky. It is not that, I just want you guys to know who I am. I do not talk much. I am pretty much to myself. Give me a phone and Ill stand anyone up. That's when I am most comfortable. Well folks, kinda a serious email but hey, I hope you all got to know me. GOT? Wow, pathetic!

Later,

Tom

New blog

Time for a new blog. Nothing of value to drool about. Just my great looks as always. Humble guy eh? Well, thanks.

Not so seriously now...

So I am at my mother in laws house (the kids love it there) and Britney is getting on the phone when a Scorpian comes flying across the floor. Britney flipped. It was about 2 feet from her feet. I fly in from the chair in the living room to kill the scorpian. When I am done Britney starts crying. Over a bug? Man if only Debbie (sister in law) was there. That would have been priceless!!! I dont understand the phobia of bugs. I guess it's like my phobia of needles, and people without logic.

Anyway, life is great. Who can complain? We have taken Jake from school and into a place where they know how to treat him. He is no longer on meds and is a great kid to be around for all. People can tolerate him. I am so happy to see that. Most people ignore Jake, or blame him for things he doesn't do. They look at him as if he isnt as smart as others. Ive seen Jake in action. I'd put him up there with anyone his age on intellect. His problem is he cannot speak very well. Heck the kid is 5 and can read. None of the kids in his FORMER class could read.

Not much going on as I said....
